By accessing or using the NationLex platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including clients, process servers, and administrators.
2. Description of Service
NationLex provides a technology platform connecting clients who need legal documents served with independent process servers. We facilitate the assignment, tracking, and documentation of service of process, but we are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. NationLex reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Process Server Requirements
Process servers using the platform must maintain valid licensing and registration as required by their jurisdiction. Servers must comply with all applicable laws regarding service of process. NationLex verifies credentials but servers are responsible for maintaining compliance.
5. Payment Terms
Clients agree to pay all fees associated with serve requests at the rates displayed at the time of order. Payment is due upon completion of service. Late payments may be subject to additional fees. NationLex processes payments securely through third-party payment processors.
6. Data Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect sensitive legal data.
7. Limitation of Liability
NationLex provides the platform on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for delays in service, failed attempts, or the actions of independent process servers. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific service in question.
8. Modifications
NationLex reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
