Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, phone, company), information generated through platform use (serve request data, GPS coordinates, attempt records, photos), and technical data (IP address, browser type, device information). For process servers, we also collect licensing and registration information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to provide and improve our services, process transactions, communicate with users, generate court-ready documents, facilitate service of process, ensure platform security, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
3. Legal Data Handling
Service of process data is treated with the highest level of confidentiality. Case numbers, party names, addresses, and serve details are encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is strictly limited to authorized parties involved in each serve request.
4. GPS and Location Data
Process servers using the platform consent to GPS location tracking during active serve attempts. Location data is used to verify service attempts and generate compliant affidavits. Location tracking is only active during attempt logging and is not continuous.
5. Data Retention
We retain serve request data, attempt records, and affidavits for the duration required by applicable statutes of limitation (typically 5-10 years depending on jurisdiction). Account data is retained for the life of the account plus 2 years after closure.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption, secure data storage, access controls, and regular security audits. We use role-based access control to ensure users only see data relevant to their role.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may request a copy of your data or ask us to restrict processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@nationlex.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics cookies help us improve the platform experience and may be declined without affecting functionality.
